Proactive education and training is a powerful tool in preventing and eliminating discrimination. Everyone benefits from a clear understanding of his or her rights and responsibilities under the law.The Commission sponsors many different free education forums, including direct training seminars, publications, and brochures.

The Commission shall have the functions, powers, and duties . . . to issue publications and research to promote good will or minimize discrimination . . . to foster good relations through seminars, conferences, educational programs, and other intergroup relations activities.
