Transgender individuals who serve or would like to serve

Transgender individuals who serve or would like to serve in the US Military are no less capable or dedicated to the job of serving our country.

The latest statement from the President of the United States espousing that their service in any way compromises or distracts from the military's duties is misguided and egregiously discriminatory.

As a Commission we will continue to uphold laws that protect all citizens in our state under RCW 49.60.
