Free informational sessions on Agricultural labor laws taking place on May 8 and 10 in Yakima and Wenatchee. These events have been coordinated to inform and educate agricultural employers and their supervisory personnel on the various federal and state requirements concerning agricultural labor requirements.
The U.S. Department of Labor, Wage Hour Division has teamed up with Labor and Industries and WorkSource to present sessions in English and Spanish on best practices in the field for supervisors and crew leaders to maintain compliance with federal and state laws concerning recordkeeping, disclosure of working conditions, hiring, transportation, housing and workers compensation.
